Gigs in and around Port Elizabeth

Two Guys and a Girl are a jazz sensation. The trio features the talents of Lyndi Green (Scott) on keyboards, Marcel Scullard on drums and Andrew Warnecke on bass guitar. They are a classy, mellow-sounding ensemble of musicians who have been gigging around the Eastern Cape to appreciative crowds for the past year. Although they perform mostly covers of classic jazz songs from Latin jazz to Smooth Jazz and blues, their repertoire compromises a winning selection of classics that pleases lovers of both serious and popular jazz standards. The band’s biggest coup was landing a gig to entertain guests at a wedding arranged by Oprah Winfrey’s party planner, Colin Cowie, when his niece recently was married in Port Elizabeth. They also take part in the annual Christmas show at the Boardwalk. Variety makes the musical world go round, and Two Guys and a Girl have found a great place to play jazz, because audiences are lapping it up.

Lyndi Scott Pianist

Pianist Lyndi Green (Scott) has a wealth of experience behind her, having toured the world and performed for princes and international VIPs. “I see my travels as experiences that I can always draw from for the rest of my life.” Life experience is an essential quality for any performer, and having travelled and worked in countries as diverse as Australia, Canada, USA, Thailand and Zambia to name a few – she certainly has it in spades.
